Fighters, Fighters and More Fighters

I know that their are MANY books out there about Fighters and the LOVES of their Lives...

Here are a few that I have read in the last month or so..
in no particular order..

"Southpaw" (A South Boys Novella) by Raen Smith -
Here you will find Raen Smith's Page on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Raen-Smith/e/B00DLRHO94/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1405705873&sr=1-2-ent

Here you will find the book:

This was a well written Novella, it accomplished what I think the Author intended and that was for me(us) to continue on..

I Loved the Friendship between Piper and "The Dude" and then the Sparks between Him and Olivia, you do not see too many books that have mainly the Male point of view, I really liked that.. I look forward to continuing on...

Ignite (Midnight Fire Series Book 1) by Kaitlyn Davis

Ignite (Midnight Fire Series Book 1)

By Kaitlyn Davis

This was the start of my interest in some of the Paranormal Romance type books or Fantasy Type (not saying this book is listed as either)..

With that being said, I enjoy these types of stories on TV and Movies and enjoy them regularly so I thought, what the heck, lets try one of the books, I was afraid I would get lost in details or character history but I did NOT in this book, the one thing I feared of getting lost was not happening at all in this book...

Being a young love story, the author was great with setting scenes, feeling like I was right there with them.. which I loved about this book.. I enjoyed when the history was given, the detail was awesome. (that is a personal preference, history buff)..

I am looking forward to future titles from Kaitlyn Davis, I believe she has a Facebook and Twitter

Most recent Firefighter Romance Books and a pet peeve I wanted to share..

Who doesn't love a good romance book, throw in a Firefighter and it will quickly be added to my must read list!!

So I have a pet peeve, don't some of you? I mean I am usually a go with the flow type of gal, not just the accidental deletion of a full blog type of eerk, I am talking about while reading, I have heard some say Grammar drives them bonkers and double words and such but those are easily passed right over by me! By the way, my grammar is AWFUL!! I am well aware! Lol

Mine is the use of the word Firemen/Fireman, now in certain instances like talking specifically about a male firefighter then yes by all means, "he is one fine looking fireman!" But in general when speaking about a group of individuals or crew of whichever, "with this group of Firemen". Not all firefighters are male, I happen to know some absolutely amazing female firefighters! (Yes I am partial, not that I am amazing, just the amount of work and heinie busting I put myself through to obtain that title, I think I can put myself in with some of these women!)  I know this is just me and I usually just read it as I want just to not upset myself, not sure exactly why it upsets me, but thought I would vent this out because, most authors enjoy feedback and of course I would hope they would take this into consideration while writing.. I know I know, lighten up, or I hear it's a small thing, oh well, ok, onto the goods.. Plus, I really want them all to continue writing, because their are not to many authors out there that will take these types of stories on...ok, and moving on....

I have read most of these titles in the last Month or so..

Lila Ashe "Fire at Dawn", "Fire at Twilight", "Fire at Dusk"

I read on Lila Ashe's bio that she is a dispatcher, first of all Kudos for your amazing work, I am certain you are appreciated by your community and you have my utmost respect... I happened to stumble across most of these author just simply by looking for a good Firefighter romance.  Now all three books later, I am ready for more of her writing... All three have made it to the top of my recommend list!!

http://smile.amazon.com/Lila-Ashe/e/B00FZE7K1I/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1405449116&sr=1-2-ent

Next are other titles I have read:

Jesse Evans " Melt with You"

Fire and Icing, hot and cold, sweet and Spicy, woo wee,  the next two are waiting patiently for me to read... These are high on my recommend list also, without giving too much away, if you love a great love story then this is a read for you, oh and what sounds like a couple pretty to look at firefighters!! (Yes I said pretty)

http://smile.amazon.com/Jessie-Evans/e/B00FC1ZFAM/ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1?qid=1405449204&sr=1-1

Anne Marsh " Crash and Burn"

This was a great little read, story story that really did leave me wanting it to continue, (I have to do some more research and see if this continues, haven't checked yet, I know, should have done my research already) but if you want a smaller read to tNgle you up for bit then this is the read to take up that time..

http://smile.amazon.com/Anne-Marsh/e/B002BOFV6G/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1405449249&sr=1-2-ent

Lauren Blakely "Burn for Me"

Another on my list to recommend and I have, a good friends with benefits book, I actually sat and read this whole book and enjoyed every minute of it!

http://smile.amazon.com/Lauren-Blakely/e/B00B5OAC1C/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1405449317&sr=1-2-ent

Lisa Ladew "Heat 1"

Ok so this book, woooooh, talk about a roller coaster, seriously, I don't remember another time when I wanted to smack a character, I must have said, " oh come on!!"  Like 10 times but trust me, this is a good thing, I couldn't put this book down!!! And this story continues!! Of course, those sure my tidbit, you will have to go and read it!! MOST definetaly!! Lisa Ladew is a really good author! I love a book when you get sucked in and realize a couple hours have passed you by!!

http://smile.amazon.com/Lisa-Ladew/e/B00HZR6C12/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1405449349&sr=1-2-ent

2 that I am going to read soon are :

Barbara Freethy "On a night like this"

Alexis Shore "The firefighter Trilogy"

My go too for Fire Suspence Books is..

Earl Emerson

http://smile.amazon.com/Earl-Emerson/e/B000APC684/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1405449399&sr=1-2-ent

And my History buff side will always go to

David Houseal

*I was unable to find an amazon.com page for him, he is a local writer here in PA and a friend but if you ever enjoy actual stories of incidents and happen to come across a book by him, take a look... He is on Facebook also**

Wallbanger by Alice Clayton

Happy Tuesday All!!

I wasn't sure if I wanted to write a blog about this book, it has been quite a while since I read it.

Let me start by saying that since I read "Wallbanger" this lovely piece of work has held the top spot on my favorites list since the day I started reading it.

There are only a few times that I remembered actually crying because I was laughing so hard while reading.. The looks I was getting from the Hubster and kiddos was priceless, lots of "mom are you ok?" And the eyebrow raises from my hubby.. (Tee hee hee) I am sure he has figured out by now that the stories I read are not those little love stories and soft kisses.. Lol, any way, keepin on...

I have recommended this book so many times, I have honestly lost count, my suggestions always include, "that dang cat, oh my goodness" Alice Clayton is an amazing author, I literally felt like I was right there, standing in the hallway watching one scene in particular. -yep, still laughing-

So again here I am suggesting it again, if you have not started The Cocktail Series, PLEASE put it on your list...

Thump, Thump, Thump, ya heard me!!! ;)

Other books include The Redhead

Another Life by Jasmine Denton

I am sorry I haven't come a crossed Jasmine Denton sooner. I am starting to look through her amazon page for other books when I finish here...

I always like to remind anyone that comes back to read my thoughts that they are exactly that, I have never written a book or edited anyone's before so please just take my notes as just that, "thoughts".

So, about "Another Life"

Talk about a ride, I enjoyed this, just as I thought to myself, wait a minute, it all fell into place.. It was perfect, the suspense and twisting of this book almost had me reading it in one day but that dreaded sleep thing snuck up on me, so I finished it the next morning.... I really enjoy detailed books, I like to feel as though I was right there with them... I love when characters banter, knowing the sarcasm and getting it was perfect, leads me to continue on to the next, can't wait to see where they will be led too in the books to follow.... This didn't feel as though it was a cliffhanger but with that thought, I will still look for others to continue on like I said previously.. I Absolutely loved the characters!

I Always love a book when I find myself laughing, thinking, wooh! Or just about crying while reading, this book has it all. And I mean everything, I will not give too much as I am not one to give spoilers...

I recommend this book to be added to your reading list,

All the way (Sarah Kinsey Story)

All The Way by C.J. Berry

This book has a Cliffhanger so if you are looking for a one book experience, this is not..

I enjoyed this whole book, the ending of course had me looking for the next book...

This is a shorter story then I usually get but for Free at the time (and was still free the last time I looked) thought I would try it out.. I re-read the ending because I thought I missed something but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.. Maybe that was the authors intention because I immediately went for the next in this series..

More to come............

I recommend this book, short and sweet, kicks your imagination in high gear.. Couldn't put it down..

Temptation Road and Temptation Road 2

Temptation Road and Temptation Road 2 by Kimball Lee

God Evening, I have read these 2 books this past week, I have the 3rd one on my wish list, patiently waiting my purchase...

I am at a loss for words, I have attached below the book descriptions and I was really intrigued by the description but boy oh boy did I finish one and immediately purchase the second... I am still letting everything sink in... This book has amazing detail and usually, well, I know this may sound weird but sometimes too much detail is boring to me and/or I get confused and have to read it again.. Well, with this one, the detail was really creative and I kept right along.. I know I had one or 2 huh?? Moments but immediately if not in the next line then the next, my question was answered...

You know it's a good read in complete silence, you say "Woh!!!" And your 11 year old looks at you with an eyebrow raised, "you ok mom?" "Huh, oh, yup, just a really good book." He usually just shakes his head and laughs at me but I Love to run away into a book for a bit...

Definetaly a 5 out of 5 for my thoughts... Highly recommended!

Kimball Lee has quite a few books on my wish list, I love that she is a versatile author and any book I have read by her has been really enjoyable...

Take a look at her books, I find mine on www.amazon.com

Cree (My Way Series) by H.J. Bellus

Notes to follow, just finishing this up... So far this is a Must Read!!!

Added 5/26/2014

This book was FABULOUS!! I cannot say enough because I do not want to give too much away.

I picked this book after reading some wonderful reader comments..

The story was gripping and kept my attention, I read this in a short amount of time..

I have a soft spot for a good love story, hard times, single life. finding love, struggling with pasts etc.  The main character (Milly) went through a tough start as a child, living through it all and then with her relationships a rough marriage, One great thing coming from this relationship. (read on to find out).

She springs free thanks to some Great Luck!!

Cree was a great character as well, The love of a single father is limitless.

The author was wonderful to read, I am looking forward to continuing this series and reading any others she may post along the way..  She is perfect with timing and keeping the story interesting, she had just enough, not going too much into scenes. I loved the freedom of speech during the whole book.. The girlfriends and the way it was worded was fabulous also..

RelaXista Book Blog

Welcome to RelaXista Book Blog

I am new to all of this book blogging thing so bare with me as I get my barrings together and I am able to share with anyone that decides to follow along..

I am asked at times to hear what I have to think about this book or that and I thought this would be a great way for me to share.

I have read hundreds of titles and my next couple blogs will be a listing of read books.

I pay for all of my books personally, or through an account with Amazon with my Wonderful Momma! She has a passion for reading and was passed to me! Thankfully she has about the same interests as I do.

I have on my list a whole bunch of romance, some times I do read others but I am mainly interested in the good ole fashioned well beyond reality love story, I absolutely love getting sucked into a book and read the entire thing in a day or two, sometimes read entire series back to back in just days.. Those are the books that I really like..

Once in a while I do loose interest in books, sometimes this happens and unfortunately this happens but it is strictly due to my taste. I in no way want to offend any Authors or sway anyone from making their own judgement.

When I am looking for a book, I generally search for free items first because it is usually the beginning of a series and in most cases they get their claws into me and I end up purchasing full series after then.. Occasionally I do not continue but this doesn't happen often. I follow a couple book blogs and get ideas through those sites as to what to read next. Also, friends suggestions are great too!!

With that being said, please feel free to comment or read along with me and let me know your thoughts.. They are greatly appreciated..

Enjoy
